ISLAMABAD: Taking notice of abuse of power, Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal ordered complaint verification against officials of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Pakistan International Airline (PIA) responsible for delay of fight allegedly due to air-safari.
Chairman NAB took notice of difficulties faced by passengers at Skardu airport after the Director General CAA allegedly took a group of friends for a special tour of Nanga Parbat on a PIA plane scheduled for a flight.
The Chairman NAB ordered NAB Gilgit and NAB Rawalpindi to probe into the incident.
Javed Iqbal also sought report on PIA plane which was sold by former Chief Executive in Germany.
