Bulawayo, July 18 (TNS): Pakistan outclassed Zimbabwe by 9 wickets in the third One Day Internationals (ODI) of the five-match series on Wednesday in the Bulawayo Cricket stadium.
Faheem Ashraf took a five-for, giving away just 22 runs, as Zimbabwe bundled out for just 67 runs in the first innings.
Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat first in the third ODI, but were outclassed by the Pakistani bowling attack as they were menacing throughout the first innings.
Pakistan in reply chased down the target in just 9.5 overs at the loss of a wicket as Fakhar Zaman was once again standout player in the chase scoring 43 at a strike rate of 179.17.
Zimbabwe’s total is now the lowest ever against Pakistan and the lowest in 78 ODIs at Queens Sports Club stadium.
Faheem Ashraf was named Man of the Match for his splendid bowling performance.
