Mardan, July 18 (TNS): Police have arrested eighty five suspects from various areas in Mardan.
According to police, arms, ammunition and drugs were recovered from them.
Forces have beefed up security across the country after Mastung tragedy and other terror attacks in recent days.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, special security measures are being taken to maintain peaceful atmosphere during polling on 25th of this month.
A spokesman of Provincial Election Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that police and army personal will be deployed at all sensitive polling stations.
Three thousand eight hundred and fifteen polling stations have been declared sensitive and eleven thousand four hundred and forty-four as very sensitive.
