Lahore, July 18, (TNS): Former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokeswoman Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to ban the speeches of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday, she asked who sent the notification of jail trial of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif, adding that the question is which cabinet issued that notification. Today, the interim federal cabinet has withdrawn the notification pertaining to the PML-N supremo and his daughter Maryam’s jail trial in Al-Azizia and Flagship references,” she added. The PML-N spokesperson said: “This behavior is not new for us but think about the country what message this conveyed abroad. Silence was observed on PTI chairman Imran Khan’s fake property papers,” she said and added the ECP was also silent on PTI’s foreign funding case.
