SHC disqualifies Nisar Khuro to contest elections

Larkana, July 19, (TNS): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) received another blow to its electioneering, when Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday disqualified party’s senior leader Nisar Khuhro for the election 2018.

According to details, SHC upheld the election tribunal verdict, in which he was declared disqualified, which ousted him from the forthcoming polls. The opponent candidate Muazam Abbasi had filed the petition against Nisar Khuhro before election tribunal demanding his disqualification over concealing assets.

Accepting Muazam’s plea election tribunal rejected nomination papers of Khuro, however, he approached Sindh High Court Larkana bench against the verdict. On July 6, Sindh High court had rejected Nisar Khuhro plea and upheld the tribunal verdict, he filed another petition before Sindh High Court against his disqualification.
