Chaman, July 20 (TNS): At least four people were injured in Balochistan’s town of Chaman on Friday as terrorists targeted a vehicle of security forces with roadside planed device.
According to officials an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a motorcycle exploded as a law-enforcement vehicle passed by in border town near Afghanistan.
Following the blast, heavy gunfire was reported at Mall Road, where the incident took place.
A large contingent of security personnel cordoned off the area. The injured were transferred immediately to Civil Hospital for medical assistance.
The shops situated near the blast site caught fire after explosion while vehicles parked near the scene were also damaged.
