Islamabad July 23, (TNS): Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday dismissed the Imran Khan,s plea against Election Commission od Pakistan (ECP).
The court restored Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) show cause notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for violating code of conduct in by-poll. A single bench comprised of Justice Amir Farooq conducted hearing. The court had reserved decision on April 26. The court while dismissing Khan’s plea against ECP’s decision restored the show cause notice.
It may be recalled that on February 09, the Election of Commission of Pakistan sent notice to PTI chairman Imran Khan and PTI candidate in NA-154 Ali Tareen for violation of election code of conduct during public gathering in Lodhran.
