Karachi, July 23, (TNS): Presiding officer assigned for election duty at PS-93 constituency has been arrested for sending another person to substitute him for election duty.
According to police, Waheedullah is a 16-grade officer in DMC, who was appointed as the Presiding Officer on PS-93. However, Waheedullah sent Zubair in his place for election duty. According to police, the presiding officer was arrested on the orders of the Returning Officer. According to police, suspect belongs to a political party. Later, police registered the case and started further process.
