Islamabad, July 24,(TNS): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced public holiday on 25th of this month in the country on the occasion of general elections.
The ECP spokesperson said notification for holiday on the day general elections has already been issued. According to which all government, autonomous and private organizations will be closed on July 25. The notification says public holiday has been declared to enable voters to exercise their right to franchise freely and conveniently.
