Sheikhupura July 25, (TNS): Dozens of workers were injured in a clash between supports of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in Sheikhupura.
Many people from both sides were injured due to the use of battens and stones. Police rushed to the scene as it received information about the clash and disperse the people. Rescue officials shifted the injured to the hospital. PML-N workers blocked the Lahore Road after the clash. PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif told the journalist that a local leader of their party had been kidnapped. Police launched the investigation into the issue. The injured were shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
