Waziristan, July 27 (TNS): Independent candidate Ali Wazir has won the election by a wide margin in NA-50, South Waziristan constituency on Friday.
After his emphatic victory the local people of the constituency were jubilated by the polling results in the constituency.
Syed Tariq Gailani got 8,250 votes, whereas Ali Wazir achieved 20,868 votes to seal victory in the constituency.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan chose not to field his candidate in the constituency against Ali Wazir.
