ECP declares provisional election results of 2018

Islamabad, July 28 (TNS): Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared the provisional election results on Saturday of general elections 2018.

The result confirms Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as the leading party with 115 NA seats, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is the second largest party in the National Assembly with 64 NA seats and Pakistan People’s Party with 43 NA seats.

The tally of seats in Punjab provincial Assembly among PTI and PML-N has caused a tussle in the province and it is yet to be ssen who will form the government there.

PTI have 123 seats and PML-N boast 129 provincial seats in Punjab according to the complete result issued by ECP.

In Sindh People’s Party  will make the government as they possess majority with 76 seats.

However, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), PTI have pulled out a cleansweep as they clinched 66 seats in the province.

The scenario in Balochistan is mixed as Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) have the majority their with 15 seats and will make a coalition government in alliance with MMA who have 9 provincial seats to their name.
