Two Kashmiri youth charge sheeted for hacking, posting “pro-Pakistan” slogans on 500 Indian websites

SRINAGAR, July 28 (TNS): Delhi Police Special Cell filed a charge-sheet against two Kashmiri youth arrested for allegedly hacking 500 Indian websites and posting “pro-Pakistan” slogans on the pages of these sites.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Kashmiri youth, Shahid Malla (28), and Aadil Hussain (20), were arrested on the charges of hacking the Indian websites.

Indian media reported that the charge-sheet mentions that the accused worked with professional Pakistani hackers and have been charged under the IT Act and waging war against India.

The charge-sheet also mentions that a document containing intelligence input from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Kashmir was recovered on the laptops of Shahid Malla and Aadil Hussain.

The youth was arrested on the intervening night of April 26 and 27, this year, in raids at two locations in Indian Punjab.

NDTV reported that some laptops, mobile phones, SIM cards, internet dongles, memory devices and other instruments were recovered from their rooms.
