Bilawal summons emergency party meeting in Karachi for formation of govt.

KARACHI, July 31 (TNS): Pakistan People’s Party Chairman (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday has summoned an emergency meeting of prominent party leaders in Karachi today.

The meeting will be held at 2pm during where the party leaders will discuss the strategy regarding formation of government.

Prominent PPP leaders including former Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah will brief the PPP Chief over their negotiations with other parties elated to election 2018.

Earlier, the PPP chairman had suggested the political parties to use Parliament’s floor to protest against the alleged rigging in general elections.

Bilawal further rejected the proposal of not taking oath presented in the All Parties Conference (APC) and suggested the political parties to record their protest in a democratic way.

Bilawal went on to say that he will sit in opposition benches and show people what the opposition is, adding that we have decided to reject all election process. “I will fight against the rigging in the parliament,” he added.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) which has emerged as the majority Party in the National Assembly is going to form the next federal government.
