FAISALABAD, August 1 (TNS): Despite Vote Recount in NA-106 constituency former law minister and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah retained his seat in Faisalabad.
The PML-N leader emerged victorious from the constituency with 106,310 votes, a margin of 3,000 votes between him and his compatriot Nisar Ahmad Jutt from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to unofficial, unconfirmed results Rana Sanaullah’s lead remained intact after recounting of votes in the constituency, as the PTI candidate with 103,899 votes trailed behind.
Elsewhwere, recount of votes is under way in NA-108 Faisalabad constituency where PTI’s Farrukh Habib won with a slight margin of 112,740 votes, defeating PML-N’s Abid Sher Ali who managed 111,529 votes.
