NAB summons Amir Muqam on August 2 in corruption probe

Peshawar, August 1(TNS): In relation to assets more than means of income charges. PML-N’s KPK President Amir Muqam has been summoned by the National Accountability Bureau NAB on August 2.

NAB will probe the corruption allegations into assets owned by the PML-N leader.

NAB officials confirmed that a case is underway against Amir Muqam by the anti-graft body.

Earlier the PML-N leader had asked for exemption from the NAB court for a few days and he gave the reason of his intense commitments in the election campaign to ask for more time.

Amir Muqam has been accused of possessing more properties than his income, he has purchased expensive properties in Peshawar, Lahore and Islamabad.

The PML-N leader was first summoned by NAB on July 12 , but he did not appear before the court.

Amir Muqam is also the owner of agricultural lands in Shangla and Swat.
