Protest against rigging will continue, after oath taking in assembly: Shehbaz

Lahore, August 2 (TNS): The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president  Shahbaz Sharif said on Thursday that their protest against rigging in general elections 2018 will continue after taking oath in the National Assembly.

Talking to private TV channel in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif said that in the meeting with former supremo Nawaz Sharif in Adiala Jail, he clarified the scenario of the general elections to him.

The PML-N president further added that, he has taken Nawaz Sharif in confidence regarding his protest against rigging after oath taking ceremony and he approved it.

“No one can take the credit away from Nawaz Sharif of making the nation an atomic power and under his leadership we were able to eradicate load-shedding in the country” he said.

The PML-N leader admitted that their next strategy will be discussed in the All Parties Conference which wil be held today.

According to sources Shehbaz will not be looking to protest on the streets rather he will use the platform of the assembly to raise his voice against rigging in polls.
