Section-144 imposed to ban markets of sacrificial animals inside Islamabad

Islamabad, Aug. 3 (TNS): The Capital administration on Friday imposed Section-144 in the city days ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to the notification, there would be complete ban on the entry of sacrificial animals into city areas.

Under the ban, the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals has been restricted on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

The decision had been imposed to maintain cleanliness and avoid waste pollution in the city.

The authorities only allow sale/purchase of sacrificial animals in bakra-mandi to be established by civic body outside of the capital city.
