MULTAN, August 4 (TNS) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI), newly elected MPA from Punjab, Sardar Muhammad Tariq Khan Dreshak, passed away today after suffering from a severe meningitis disease.

According to family sources, Tariq Dreshak was suffering from severe meningitis for the past two to three days, and when his health deteriorated, he was immediately admitted to the ICU of Multan City Hospital.
The doctors however were unable to restore the ailing PTI leader’s health and he passed away today after longstanding illness.
The official twitter page of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) South Punjab division has confirmed that Tariq Dreshak’s funeral prayers will be offered on Sunday at 9am in Rajanpur.
Tariq Dreshak won the election as a PTI candidate securing 42,119 votes from PP-296.
