Lahore, August 6 (TNS): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Usman Dar filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday for recounting of votes in NA-73, Sialkot constituency where he lost to Khwaja Asif in the general elections 2018.
Usman Dar lost to Khwaja Asif by a slight margin of 1,406 votes.
In the petition Usman Dar stated Election Commission,Khwaja Asif and Returning Officer as relevant party and also asked for recounting in the constituency.
Dar also asked LHC in the petition not to issue victory notification for Khwaja Asif till the recounting process is completed.
