ISLAMABAD, Aug 07 (TNS): Armed men robbed senior scribe’s house and escaped with cash and gold worth millions.

According to the details the dacoits, after leaping over the wall, barged into the house of Muhamad Abiddullah Khan, The Chief Editor of Bad e Shumal, on the intervening night of 6 and 7th Aug in River Garden of Loi Bhair area.

The masked dacoits, numbering at least five made the family of Khan, who hails from Gilgit Baltistan, hostage and tied them with a rope before looting Rs.1mn cash and gold ornaments worth millions more.

Robbers left the place with all ease after perpetrating the crime almost whole of the night. Police only came to know about the incident after being informed by victims.
