LAHORE, August 10 (TNS): The met office forecasted on Friday that Eid Ul Azha is likely to be celebrated on August 22 in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) there are chances that Zil-Hajj moon will be sighted on August 12, Wednesday.
The Zil-Hajj moon will be sighted on Sunday evening, it added.
However in Saudi Arabia, it is likely that the month of Zil-Hajj will begin on Sunday and Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on August 21.
Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on the 10th day of Zil-Hajj which marks the start of the Hajj Pilgrimage and it is the last month of the Islamic calendar.
