Lahore,August 10(TNS): Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly speaker and one of the founding members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Asad Qaiser has been nominated as speaker National Assembly by the party, whereas Chaudhary Sarwar has been chosen for the Punjab Governor slot.
PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi announced on Friday in press briefing in Islamabad.
“The party has nominated PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as speaker for Punjab Assembly” added Qureshi.
Responding to a question regarding appointment of next Punjab chief minister, the PTI leader remarked that final name will be revealed by party chief Imran Khan.
Asad Qaiser is one of the veteran politician and worker in PTI’s KPK chapter and he joined the party in 1996, when the party came into existence.
