Guyana, August 11 (TNS): Pakistan’s bowling ace Sohail Tanvir, the Guyana Amazon Warriors pacer, has been levied with a fine of 15% on Saturday after making an inappropriate gesture during the match against St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

An official release from the CPL noted that the bowler has admitted to a breach of the code of conduct of the tournament and a penalty has been handed by the match referee, Denavon Hayles.

The aforementioned incident took place in the 17th over of Patriots’ innings after Tanvir castled the Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting. Amazon Warriors, eventually, won the game by six wickets to open their CPL 2018 campaign in style.
