Lahore, Aug. 12 (TNS): President PML-N Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in connection with International Youth Day, termed youth of the country as architect of the future.
In a message, on occasion, Shehbaz said that youth’s role in accelerating the pace of socio-economic development of any country is well documented.
“They are the architect of the future and it is in their hands the destiny of Pakistan lies. With the youth bulge being a pronounced fact of life, we have a real challenge as well as an opportunity at hand. If the right kind of investment is made in channelizing the energies of our youth through skill development and expansion of greater educational opportunities, we have every reason to unlock the potential that this great country is blessed with”, he added.
“As we celebrate the International Youth Day today, we have to reaffirm our commitment to the youth empowerment, commit to greater investment in their well-being and double down on the efforts to make them the shaper of their destiny. The PML-N government pushed youth development to the top of public policy agenda. The different initiatives pursued during my term in office were in the realms of education, skill development, information technology, self-employment scheme, sports and entrepreneurship”, Shehbaz went on to say.
