Fake bank accounts case: top court adjourns hearing till Aug. 28

Islamabad, Aug. 15 (TNS): The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing the case relating to money laundering through fake bank accounts till 28th of this month. A three member bench headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar heard the case.

The Supreme Court also heard Asghar Khan case and adjourned its hearing for four weeks.

Defence Secretary sought four weeks to submit a report on implementation of the apex court judgement in Asghar Khan case.

A three member bench headed by Chief Justice also sought report from the Election Commission for e-voting for Overseas Pakistanis.

Secretary of the Commission Babar Yaqoob informed the court that an operational plan for exercise of right of vote by Overseas Pakistanis has been prepared in collaboration with NADRA.

He said the plan would be experimented in coming by-elections and the outcome would be shared with the Parliament.
