Karachi, August 16 (TNS): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi hesitated to resign from his post amid the rumors of disqualification of certain officials, according to media reports.
The televangelist and PCB chief vowed to leave his post due to the speculations surrounding about his future that have intensified since the elections 2018.
The PTI Cheif has given a clear hint that, PCB head and many other officers were appointed on political grounds, thus they were not appointed on merit.
However, their future is insecure as PTI claimed to make such unjust appointments accountable after coming into power.
Following PTI’s triumph in the elections, several officers had advised Sethi to resign from his position as chairman PCB.
