Islamabad, Aug. 16 (TNS): Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi called on Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser in Islamabad on Thursday.
They exchanged views on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
The Speaker said Pakistan gives utmost importance to its relations with the UAE and desirous of taking them to new heights. He said Pakistan and UAE are tied in a strong bond of religion, culture and history.
Asad Qaiser emphasized on enhancing parliamentary and business contacts to further cementing bilateral ties.
Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi said UAE too gives importance to its relations with Pakistan. He congratulated Asad Qaiser for his election as Speaker of the National Assembly.
