Baku, August 17 (TNS): The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Artur Rasizade on Friday has felicitated Imran Khan on being elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan after he received 176 votes in the National Assembly election to become the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The Azerbaijan Prime Minister further said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan enjoy a strategic partnership and alliance which will originate prosperous and friendly relations between the two countries.
“I am assured that our cooperation based on mutual confidence, trust and support, will further improve and expand by our joint efforts years ahead, congenial to the interests of our states and peoples” he stated.
The Prime Minister extended his heartiest congratulations to Imran Khan and wished all the Muslims of Pakistan a happy Eid-ul-Azha, which epitomizes high moral values, and wished the Prime Minister good luck in his future endeavors in path of the welfare of the fraternal people of Pakistan.
