Karachi, Aug. 18 (TNS): After an encounter, Karachi Police arrested a street criminal in injured condition, arms ammunition, snatched mobile phone and snatched cash recovered.
According to local police, Garden police mobile on Mirza Adam Khan Road intercepted two accused on a motorcycle while they were managing their escape after depriving a citizen Tanveer of his mobile phone, cash Rs 2350 and other valuables.
The motorcycle riders opened fire on the police and after exchange of fire one among them identified as Zahid s/o Abdul Malik sustained bullet injury and arrested with a 30 bore pistol and ammunition recovered from his possession.
Cases vide FIR no. 185/2018 u/s 392/397/353/324/34 PPC r/w 7 ATA & a case under Sindh Arms Act’s section 23(1)a vide FIR no. 186/2018 have been registered at Garden police station.
