Islamabad, August 20 (TNS): The accountability court in Islamabad has decided to announce joint verdict in Al Azizia and Flagship References against Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar on Monday.
According to reports , the hearing resumed of the case in Islamabad today.
During the hearing, Sharif’s legal counsel Khawaja Haris requested court to announce a joint verdict in Al-Azizia and Flagship references filed against Sharif family by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on directives of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC).

The court then approved the request of Sharif’s Counsel and has now decided to announce the verdict jointly.
The court also summoned Wajid Zia head of former Panama joint investigation team (JIT) for cross-examination on Aug 27.
Zia’s statement will be recorded in Flagship reference , after the conclusion of cross examination.
An accountability court had sentenced former supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd.) Muhammad Safdar in Avenfield Reference case for a span of 10, 7 and one year respectively.
