ISLAMABAD, August 25 (TNS): The Nation will pay tribute to the martyrs and their families who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of the nation on September 6, as DG Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) announced on Saturday.
ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor, took to twitter and said, “Nation will pay tribute to its Martyrs & their families on 6 Sep. Every Pakistani will IA be part of this unique campaign reaching out to their families, home, street, mohalla, village, city, province & place of Martyrdom. Let’s salute their sacrifice.Details soon.” #WeLovePakistan
He also urged to salute the sacrifices of the courageous officers who shed their blood for the protection of this nation.
On September 6, 1965, the Indian forces crossed international border in the darkness of night to attack Pakistan but ever-vigilant armed forces, solidly backed by the nation, foiled nefarious designs of the enemy.
