ISLAMABAD, Aug. 26 (TNS): Prime Minister House on Sunday denied offering Dr Ameer Jogezai the post of Balochistan governor.
According to a statement issued by PM House spokesperson, appointing Jogezai as governor was just a suggestion and no final decision was taken on the matter.
After the revelation of some reports and evidence about Jogezai, no further step was taken on this suggestion, the spokesperson added.
On Saturday, it was reported that Dr Ameer Muhammad Khan Jogezai refused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) offer of Balochistan governorship.
In a video message, he said that he was thankful to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) for putting their faith in him.
