Top secret agency starts hunt operation against corrupt bureaucrats

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 31 (TNS): Pakistan’s top secret agency has launched an operation against bureaucrats involved in corruption, sources said.
Sources revealed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed key secret agency to launch a comprehensive operation to clean the bureaucracy from black-sheeps in all departments across the country.
Sources further said that, the secret agency was tasked to expose corrupt bureaucrats and to collect all possible data and evidences against the corrupt officers so that they could be brought to book by the courts.
On direction of the Prime Minister, the secret agency has launched the operation named “Hunt for the Crooks”.
According to the sources, the head of the Intelligence Agency is leading this operation while regional teams in all provinces are working with the center.

According to sources, the bureaucracy has been divided into three categories to trace corrupt officers in various departments, officials of grades 22 to 20 have been placed in Blue category, officials of grade 19 to 17 were placed in Red category while officials under grade 17 given black category.
Operation goals include investigations of all top level officials linked to mega-projects. According to the sources, special attention will be given to the corruption done by nexus of Bureaucracy and political elite.
In addition, laundering of money earned by corruption will also be targeted.
During the operation, the assets of top officials, from their joining to present, would also be examined.
While officers would be monitored by CCTV cameras from their offices to luxury vehicles.
According to the sources, the close relatives and friends of officers will also remain in radar of secret agency.
