PM Imran clarifies to Journalists, his use of helicopter from Banigala to Secretariat

Islamabad,August 31 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with senior journalists on Friday in which he clarified why he traveled via a helicopter from Bani Gala to Prime Minister House.

Imran Khan told the top journalists of the country that he travels by air so that the public do not suffer from his protocol/ massive security, which he eventually has to avail due to security issues, which subsequently blocks the traffic if he travels by road.

According to details, Imran Khan discussed various matters in the meeting with Senior Journalists, the Prime Minister said that there is no room for nepotism Pakistan and meritocracy is the basic principle on which this nation can flourish.

He also expressed that the government is in strong position and the opposition is disjointed and without a direction.

Imran Khan also backed Cheif Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar and expressed that he is the right personnel for the job.

The PM also said that once Pakistan comes out of economic crisis, then he will surely go abroad for Foreign visits to tell the world about Pakistan’s viewpoint.

Responding to the question on his meeting with Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal has said that he asked the Chairman NAB to carry out the wave of accountability without any bias, if someone is involved in corruption within the government he should be made accountable before the law.

The Prime Minister did not attend the French President’s call during his meeting with the journalists as he wanted to put forward his viewpoint clearly before the fourth pillar of the state.
