Islamabad, Sep 15 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf believes in transfer of powers to grass root level, which is only possible by strengthening the local government system.
Chairing a meeting regarding local government system in Islamabad on Saturday, he said empowered people in a local bodies system can be the best form of the government.
Imran Khan said people should take their decisions by their own, which is not possible without ensuring a strong local government system in Pakistan.
He said local government system will be made functional on the pattern of government’s experience in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
