Mustafa Kamal among political leaders demanding PM resignation

Karachi July 11(TNS): After publication of JIT Report, chief of Pak Sir Zameen Party Mustafa Kamal demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down adding that if there is more delay in resignation, democracy will be harmed.

Imran Khan, Khursheed Shah, Siraj ul Haq, Farooq Sattar, Sheikh Rasheed have also demanded the Prime Minister to resign.

Talking to media in Karachi, Mustufa kamal said that democratic Parties were demanding the resignation of Prime Minister, now after the publication of report submitted by the JIT in the Supreme Court; Nawaz Sharif must respect the law.

However, Kamal said that the Prime Minister has right to defend himself and his family.

He said that the Prime Minister should resign in the best interest of the country, the institutions, and the public.

“If there is more delay in resignation, democracy will be harmed”, he added.

Mustafa Kamal offered Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar to joined hands with him to “serve the public”.

“I invite Farooq Sattar and the whole leadership of the MQM-P to join hands with us so we can serve the public together,” he told reporters at a press conference at the PSP headquarters, Pakistan House.

“The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is benefiting from the current political situation of the city despite the stories of its corruption and incompetence,” he added.
