Rawalpindi, Oct 01 (TNS): Punjab Information Minister Fayazul Hassan Chohan says provincial government will not issue official advertisements to the newspapers that failed to pay salaries to the employees for two months.

Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi this afternoon, he said the action will be taken after a written complaint received by journalists at the office of Director General Public Relations.

The Provincial Minister said government is well aware of the financial problems of journalists and will make efforts to solve them. He said journalists will be issued health cards.

Fayazul Hassan Chohan said baseless propaganda is being carried out against the government on social media, which should be stopped.

Giving a message to the Indian threats against Pakistan, the Punjab Information Minister said Pakistan wants peace, but the country is well prepared to give a befitting response to any misadventure.
