Islamabad, Oct 19 (TNS): Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi has urged UN Refugee Agency to collaborate with Pakistan in highlighting the Afghan refugees’ issues in the country.
He was talking to UNHCR representative in Pakistan, Ruven Menikdiwela, who called on him in Islamabad to discuss matters related to Afghan refugees.
The UNHCR representative appreciated Pakistan for hosting refugees for the last four decades.
He said the agency will continue to support and assist Pakistan in resolution of refugees’ issue.
