Islamabad, Oct 21 (TNS): Minister of State for Interior Sheharyar Khan Afridi has said that there is dire need for educational institutions of Muslim world to inculcate latest knowledge and technology to empower Muslim world to uplift and give them respect.
He said this during a meeting with President International Islamic University Islamabad Dr. Ahmed Yousif Ahmed Al Draiweesh,in Islamabad on Sunday.
Issues related to betterment of Muslim world, Saudi-Pak ties and education were discussed in the meeting.
Sheharyar Khan Afridi said Pakistan gives great importance to its ties with Saudia as both nations are closer to hearts of each other.
On the occasion, Dr. Al-Draiweesh highlighted importance of International Islamic University and its role in disseminating peace and discouraging extremism.
