Islamabad, Nov 21 (TNS): Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi has emphasized the need for economic diplomacy saying we have to invite the Pakistanis to come and invest in their country.
Addressing Pakistani community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday, he said in pursuance of economic diplomacy, the Foreign Office will extend its full cooperation with every ministry to bring investment and generate employment opportunities in Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister said eighty to eighty-five thousand Pakistanis, residing in Malaysia, send remittances of one billion dollars every year and we have to value these Pakistanis for their great contribution.
He said now the time has come to differentiate among those who are sending their Halal income to Pakistan and those who are involved in money laundering.
