Islamabad, Nov 24 (TNS): According to Water and Power Development Authority, a load rejection test of all the three production units of Tarbela-4 project has been carried out successfully.

A spokesperson of WAPDA said the load rejection test is carried out on the complete operational capacity of all the production units of the power plant.
The spokesperson said the turbine performance of Tarbela 4 was also tested in the presence of an international expert.
The spokesperson said the three production units of Tarbela fourth extension project are providing electricity to the grid. Its total capacity has soared to 4888 megawatt. The project has so far produced 1.26 billion units of cheap electricity.
