Lahore, Nov 28 (TNS): Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal has said the groundbreaking of Kartarpur corridor is a monumental event which will open many opportunities for both Pakistan and India.
Talking to the media persons in Islamabad this morning (Wednesday) before leaving for Kartarpur, he said this was the initiative of Prime Minister Imran Khan which was widely appreciated including the people in India.
He said the corridor will facilitate the Sikh pilgrims to visit their holiest sites in Pakistan.

Responding to a question, the foreign office spokesperson said the construction of the corridor will stand completed before the next birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak in November.
