Lahore, Dec. 03 (TNS): Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood has said practical steps will be taken for the welfare of children with disabilities.
He was addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The Minister said the special children deserve special attention and they will be fully facilitated at their educational institutions.
He said accessibility codes of buildings will be ensured for easy and safe access of such persons at public places and buildings.
