Peshawar, Dec. 05 (TNS): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman has issued directives to expedite work on rehabilitation of Warsak canal irrigation project in Peshawar.
Presiding over a review meeting of the project in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said thousands of acres barren lands will be irrigated with the completion of this project.
The governor said no compromise will be made on the timely completion of this public welfare project.
The meeting was informed that required machinery is being manufactured in China and Germany which would be imported next year.
