Islamabad, Jan. 07 (TNS): Minister for National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani says health sector is being given foremost priority as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Talking to Director General of the World Health Organization Dr Tedros in Islamabad on Monday, he said this year fifty percent population will benefit from health card.
He said the health card is being issued to those people who are below the poverty line.
Dr Tedros assured his full cooperation in the health department.The Minister for National Health Services and the DG WHO also visited polio emergency operation cell where they were briefed about the steps taken for elimination of Polio.
