GB, March. 02 (TNS): The Force Commander Northern Areas, Major General Ahsan Mehmood Khan held a meeting with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan, Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon in Gilgit.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on different matters of mutual interest particularly the prevailing situation in the region.
The Governor praised the role of Armed Forces to give befitting response to Indian planes for Pakistani airspace violation.
He assured the Force Commander that people of Gilgit-Baltistan stand shoulder to shoulder with Pak Army to foil nefarious designs of the enemy.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafeez-ur-Rehman telephoned Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar and lauded the effective and timely response of Pakistan Air Force to Indian aggression.
