Islamabad, April 23 (TNS): Capital Development Authority (CDA) is conducting anti-encroachment operation all over the city in connection with its ongoing anti-encroachment drive. During these operations all illegal construction, moveable and immovable encroachments and other violations are being targeted. During the actions taken on Tuesday eight (08) depots of building material were removed while 10 dumper construction material and 12 trucks encroachment material was confiscated.
Teams of Enforcement Directorate carried out an operation against the workshops being operated in sector F-10. During this operation encroachments were removed while four (04) trucks of encroachment material including tools were confiscated. Another action was taken against the workshops being operated in the parking area of sector G-8. During this operation three (03) trucks encroachment material were confiscated.
Similarly, another action was taken against encroachments in sector I-10 markaz during this operation encroachments established in the verandas and footpaths were removed and five (05) trucks encroachment material was confiscated which was later on shifted to CDA store. Furthermore, one chapper hotel was also demolished in Sector G-11/3.
In the meanwhile, operation against illegal construction material depots along the Islamabad Expressway remained continues on second day. During this operation, eight (08) depots of construction material were removed while 10 dumper construction materials were also confiscated.
