Islamabad, May 06 (TNS): Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Administration ICT, in connection with ongoing anti-encroachment drive, conducted a massive operation in village Sinyarri. During this operation, several illegal structures were razed and several acres state land was retrieved from illegal occupants.
This operation was participated by the Enforcement Directorate, ICT Administration, Islamabad police and concerned formations of the authority. Heavy machinery was utilized to demolish illegal constructions.
During this operation, 12 houses / havelies comprising upon 38 rooms, 12 boundary walls, 18 wash rooms and 12 kitchens constructed illegal on State land were demolished. During the operation, few elements tried to halt the operation, however, officers of ICT Administration tackled the situation and the first phase of the operation was completed.
