Capital Development Authority (CDA) is conducting anti-encroachment operations all over the city in connection with ongoing drive against illegal constructions and encroachments

IslamabadŲŒ May 15, (TNS): In this context, Enforcement Directorate of the authority demolished several encroachments during recent operations conducted in Sira-e-Madhoo, sector D-12/2, Katchi Abadi sector G-6/2.

Enforcement Directorate along with ICT Administration and other concerned formations took a massive action in Sira-e-Madhoo near Sangjani Toll Plaza and demolished illegal constructions from the State Land. During this, an illegally constructed residential unit comprising upon four (4) rooms, one (01) kitchen, one (01) wash room and outer boundary wall were demolished. This structure found encroached on state land as confirmed from revenue staff.

Similarly, five (5) commercial shops and one (01) show room constructed illegally in the vicinity were also demolished.

During the operation conducted on Wednesday, teams of enforcement team demolished room in street 40 of sector D-12/2. The room was illegally constructed on the land of residential plot by the owner of adjacent house for keeping his pet dogs. It is pertinent to mention here that on Tuesday owner of the house quarreled with the CDA teams and created hindrance in demolishing the room and the matter was taken up and application for registration of FIR has already been given in Police Station Golra.

In another operation conducted in Katchi Abadi, Sector G-6/2, newly constructed wall at the roof top of a residential house was also demolished.
